I wanted to touch on internet safety today as many people don't seem to have a clue about it and some may know a bit about the topic, but not enough to keep them safe online. KEEPING THE HOUSEHOLD SAFE ONLINE: From the aifs.gov.au webpage, it seems that children are highly exposed to porn, horrific images and more. See below "In Australia, just under half (44%) of children aged 9-16 surveyed had encountered sexual images in the last month. Of these, 16% had seen images of someone having sex and 17% of someone's genitals." These stats are absolutely horrific. I am saddened at the thought of this happening to children.
