Most of us have heard about Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat. In fact, according to stats, 3.6 billion people use social media across the globe.
I personally use it for running my business and chatting with friends and family, however everyone uses it for different things on a personalized level.
What is I told you that there are some dark sides of social media/ What if I told you that social media can be used by online predators, scammers, lonely men or women wanting to use and abuse another or bullying?
Bullying is what I wanted to talk about today. I know that many people graduate high school and do not see or are not the targets of bullying (lucky them) but, the fact is that many kids are bullied and even into their adulthood.
I was one of the ones that look different, suffered low self-esteem and didn’t have many friends. I was bullied every single day at school from K-12 and never ever had a day where I felt comfortable in my own skin.
What bullies do not understand is, the trauma they cause at school often stays with the victim their whole life and I am an example of this.
Lucky for me, I did not have Facebook when I finished school in 2005, however many people do. People kill themselves from bullying, so my message today is try to be kind to all. Bullying destroys lives.
