Wellness, what is it and why do we need to stay well?

According to Google, wellness is the state of being in good health, especially as an actively pursued goal."measures of a patient's progress toward wellness"

Why do we need to be well? As humans, we rely on wellness to do our jobs, participate in our social circles, and live the best we can.

One of the biggest aspects I have to focus on due to having a mental illness is staying well mentally.

For me, sleep hygiene, eating healthy, exercise and medication all have the biggest impacts on me as well as trying to escape from my intrusive thoughts by fact checking and trying to not respond to triggers is hard, but it's possible.

I have made a wellness plan (not complete for privacy reasons... see below.
