3. The characters in the Harry Potter series

The Harry Potter series is populated by a large cast of interesting and well-developed characters. The main character, of course, is Harry Potter himself, a brave and determined young wizard who has to overcome great adversity in his fight against evil. Other important characters include Hermione Granger, Harry’s best friend and a gifted witch; Ron Weasley, Harry’s other best friend and a member of a wizarding family; and Draco Malfoy, Harry’s main rival at Hogwarts.
